Solarised Factory Images

Having never used Photoshop I decided one day to sit down and have a go! Not only kill a couple of hours but to explore it as a resource for creating pieces of work. It was very difficult trying to get the hang of it for the first time but I found myself doing the simple thing first by exploring  all the filters on a few images I had. Some worked most didn’t! Then it came to solarise. I admit it was not my intention to solarise the images because I knew it would improve them I just happened to stumble upon it through process of elimination. However the case, I feel it works perfect for what I was trying to capture. The images now show the eeriness that I wanted to show for the area and at the same time it doesn’t take from the building itself.

This image is my favourite of the bunch. In my eyes it couldn't be any better. It's exactly what I wanted to achieve and how I wanted the factory to be portrayed.
