Solarised Factory Images

Having never used Photoshop I decided one day to sit down
and have a go! Not only kill a couple of hours but to explore it as a resource
for creating pieces of work. It was very difficult trying to get the hang of it
for the first time but I found myself doing the simple thing first by exploring
all the filters on a few images I had.
Some worked most didn’t! Then it came to solarise. I admit it was not my
intention to solarise the images because I knew it would improve them I just
happened to stumble upon it through process of elimination. However the case, I
feel it works perfect for what I was trying to capture. The images now show the
eeriness that I wanted to show for the area and at the same time it doesn’t
take from the building itself.

| This image is my favourite of the bunch. In my eyes it couldn't be any better. It's exactly what I wanted to achieve and how I wanted the factory to be portrayed. |
